This Australian pelican was making itself known to all and sundry, perhaps explaining as clearly as it could manage that this was his (her?) light pole, so don't even think about it. Anyway, whatever message it was trying to convey, it got a laugh from me. The light pole in question was in Newcastle, New South Wales.
I've been taking photos for many years, having bought my first SLR in 1990. Initially, my camera was something I used to record family holidays, but I'm now able to spend more time on photography for its own sake (and mine!). I love finding new places and things to photograph, whether near home or further afield.
