Morning flag (orthrosanthus multiflorus) is an Australian native plant that grows lovely little blue flowers, as seen here in a macro shot taken in Maranoa Gardens, which is in Balwyn, an eastern suburb of Melbourne, Australia.
I've been taking photos for many years, having bought my first SLR in 1990. Initially, my camera was something I used to record family holidays, but I'm now able to spend more time on photography for its own sake (and mine!). I love finding new places and things to photograph, whether near home or further afield.
