Epacris purpurascens is also known as Port Jackson Heath. It's an Australian native plant which has tall stems of delicate little white to pinky/purple (my somewhat non-scientific description) flowers. As with many of my Australian native images, this was taken in Maranoa Gardens, which is in Balwyn, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia.
I've been taking photos for many years, having bought my first SLR in 1990. Initially, my camera was something I used to record family holidays, but I'm now able to spend more time on photography for its own sake (and mine!). I love finding new places and things to photograph, whether near home or further afield.
