Puffing Billy is a historic steam train run as a tourist attraction in the Dandenong Ranges. The narrow gauge railway runs between Belgrave and Gembrook, outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. It's very popular, especially during school holidays, which is when I turned up for this image. The locomotive (12A) seen here was built in 1912.
I've been taking photos for many years, having bought my first SLR in 1990. Initially, my camera was something I used to record family holidays, but I'm now able to spend more time on photography for its own sake (and mine!). I love finding new places and things to photograph, whether near home or further afield.
