Description
The Ring of Brodgar, a remarkable set of standing stones on Orkney's Mainland, was very much under threat of rain when we first arrived, late in the day. I thought the dark sky provided some fitting atmosphere to this quite spectacular prehistoric monument. Said dark sky was very much in keeping with our experience of Scottish weather, I might add.

One of my favourite stone circles, love this moody look, LF
Neil Maclachlan replied:
Thanks Michaela. It was well and truly one of the more impressive stone circles.
