Description
I was very happy when this laughing kookaburra chose to perch on a tree just near me when I was on a photographic mission at the Burke Road Billabong in Kew East,. As A result, my landscape photography activities quickly morphed into bird photography. To my even greater delight, a second bird arrived as I was taking my first few shots. I think it's wonderful that this is possible in an inner suburb of a large city, i.e. Melbourne, Australia.
